Baldur’s Gate 3 Physical Edition For Consoles Pushed Back To Next Month
Larian Studios has announced through social platforms the current status of the Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 for consoles and PC. While the PC version has already started shipping, Larian revealed that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions have been affected by production issues.
The team wanted to get the console versions into the hands of players earlier, however, production issues have meant that shipping dates have been pushed back slightly. The PS5 and Xbox Series Editions are expected to be shipped between April and May 2024.

Plus, those waiting for their Xbox version will now receive 4 physical discs, instead of the 3 originally planned so that they can provide the full game as a physical copy, and yes, it takes that much to store Baldur’s Gate 3. The PlayStation 5 version will require two discs, on the other hand, the PC version will feature a custom installer and include a Steam key.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition, priced at $79.99 / €79.99, offers several physical extras to enhance the overall gaming experience. These extras include a world map, a Mind Flayer poster, a Deluxe Edition box, and more.
