River City Girls 2 To Get Double Dragon DLC This Summer

WayForward will be adding the famous Lee Brothers in its 2D beat-em-up slamfest River City Girls 2.

Originally cast as dojo masters who sold moves to Misako and Kyoko (and her pals) in RCR2, Billy and Jimmy Lee will close shop and become playable characters in the game as upcoming DLC this Summer. The duo will be voiced by Dan Avidan (Billy) and Arin “Egoraptor” Hanson (Jimmy) of Game Grumps fame. The DLC will also add a new vocal song sung by the duo (with music from RCR2 composer Megan McDuffee), plus a new dojo master to stand in for Billy and Jimmy while they’re fighting.

In addition to the premium DLC, a free update  will be made available to all River City Girls 2 owners, delivering an all-new Double Dragon-themed motion comic, two new shops, new accessories, and more. Details will be out closer to the DLC’s release.

It’ll be interesting to see how they interact with the buff-as-heck Marian in this universe. River City Girls 2 is out right now for PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
