Granblue Fantasy Dev Cygames Opens New Studio In Singapore

Japanese developer and publisher Cygames has announced that they have established, launched and opened a new studio in Southeast Asia with Cygames Singapore. It will be led by managing director Masafumi Chiba.

Cygames originally established its Global Business Development team in 2017, which proceeded to launch new studios in South Korea and Taiwan. This is then followed by Cygames America and Cygames Europe in April 2023.

Cygames has been on the rise in recent years, pushing into the mobile market with the card game Shadowverse, and several games in the Granblue Fantasy franchise across multiple platforms, including the recently-released action JRPG game Granblue Fantasy Relink in January 2024.
