V Rising Confirms Release for PlayStation 5 Next Month

Developer Stunlock Studios has announced that the survival action RPG, V Rising is gearing up for its PlayStation 5 release on 11 June 2024.

In the game, you play as a vampire who wakes up from their coffin. You then immediately head into the map of Vardoran to hunt prey, kill humans, build a castle, collect resources, and take down a list of bosses. As you build your castle and take down more V Blood bosses, you unlock new recipes and abilities that power up your vampire and unlock more stuff for your castle. Players can choose to play solo, team up with friends in co-op mode, or engage in online multiplayer.

Those who are interested can pre-order V Rising now through the PlayStation Store. The game comes in three different editions: Standard, Legacy of Castlevania, and Complete. The latter includes the base game and the Legacy of Castlevania premium pack, plus 5 days of early access, while the Complete edition includes everything from the Legacy of Castlevania pack with the addition of Sinister Evolution pack, Dracula’s Relics pack, and Eldest Bloodline pack.

V Rising initially made its debut in Early Access on PC via Steam on 17 May 2022, then received a full release on 8 May 8 2024.
