Vampire Survivors: The Best Builds For Each Stage

Vampire Survivors was a surprise hit a few years back, introducing the world to the 2D bullet heaven concept of gaming. You play a lone character, get leveled up by killing hordes of enemies coming at you, and then power yourself up with an arsenal of spells and attacks that can clear screens insanely.

To celebrate the release of the upcoming Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns DLC, here are the builds you should use for the stages prior to the new update. The most important thing is to keep items that have as many Evolutions as possible; Evo weapons will make a difference between life and death. For a full list of Evo combos, head here and here.

Mad Forest Build

A straightforward open level. Just go for the basics to get through this stage.

Inlaid Library Build

A literal straight level, but with limited space. There’s no need to keep weapons that hit above (like the Axe), seeing as the layout is just left to right.

Dairy Plant

This area is filled with obstacles, so being speedy helps here. However, you need to bolster your defense and DPS, so here’s a setup you can use. Wing and Attractorbs help here as it’ll make you get lost XP, as backtracking here can be tricky.

Gallo Tower Build

The first DLC stage. Bouncing projectiles do help in this stage full of obstacles.

Lake Forscari

The second DLC stage is built so that you destroy different seals across the giant stage. It’s best you play as Keitha Muorto because of her Flash Arrow. Her Millionaire weapon can destroy the Seal of the Lake at the tail end of the stage.

Abyss Foscari Build

This specific DLC stage will open up after destroying the Seal of the Lake. Use Maruto Cuts to break the Seal of the Abyss by evolving Eskizzibur and Armor to get the Legionnaire.

After that, pick Eleanor and level up to gain SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike to get SpellStorm. Use this to destroy the Seal of the Banished and fight Je-Ne-Viv.

Polus Replica Build

The Among Us DLC level. This build will give you new weapons like Report! (which pushes enemies away) and Lifesign Scan that can help with survivability.
