A Quiet Place is Getting a New Survival Horror Adventure Game Spinoff
By Ali'sha Harris|June 18, 2024|0 Comment
Publisher Saber Interactive and developer Stormind Games recently dropped the reveal trailer for their much-anticipated game, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed A Quiet Place film series, this game is poised to immerse players in a tense, first-person survival horror experience.
Saber Interactive is no stranger to the genre, having previously released notable first-person horror games, including World War Z, Evil Dead: The Game, and Jurassic Park: Survival. This spinoff promises to elevate the horror experience, plunging players into a silent world where the slightest sound can mean doom. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is already drawing favorable comparisons to the critically acclaimed Alien: Isolation, suggesting that players can expect a heart-pounding challenge.
The game’s trailer offers a glimpse into its harrowing world, showcasing a scene where the player character attempts to quietly activate a generator and open a door, only to summon terrifying alien creatures with the noise inadvertently. A misstep onto broken glass leads to a frenzied attack, underscoring the game’s core premise: in this silent world, noise is your deadliest enemy.
While the exact release date remains under wrap, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is set to launch sometime this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
