Guilty Gear Is Getting A TV Anime Adaptation

This piece of news is not bulls*** (blazing): 2D fighting game Guilty Gear is getting an anime series.

The title of the anime adaptation is called Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers, featuring an all-new story. The show’s anime production house is SANZIGEN studio, who is known for their works on BanG Dream! and D4DJ First Mix animation works. The show’s director is Shigeruu Morikawa (Gekij?ban Argonavis: Ry?sei no Obligato), while its scriptwriter is Norimitsu Kaiho. The show’s associate producer is Seiji Mizushima.

Official poster art is below. So far we can gather that Sin Kiske and Sol Badguy are the lead characters of the show. We have no idea who the green person with the goggles is.

More details will be revealed on 5 July at Anime Expo; that’s 20 days from now. In the meantime, check out SANZIGEN’s previous Guilty Gear Strive video work below.
