Lara Croft is The Latest Survivor Joining Dead by Daylight

Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that the Tomb Raider’s protagonist, Lara Croft, will join the fray of Survivors in the multiplayer survival horror Dead by Daylight.

Just over a month after the release of Chapter 32: Dungeons & Dragons, Dead by Daylight is set to welcome one of the most iconic female video game characters into its next crossover. Lara Croft is bringing three perks to her gameplay:

Finesse

• This perk activates while you are healthy. Your fast vaults are 20% faster. This perk goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds after performing a fast vault.

Hardened

• This perk activates after you unlock a chest and cleanse or bless a totem. Anytime you scream, you can reveal the Killer’s aura for 3/4/5 seconds.

Specialist

• Each time you open or rummage through a chest, gain 1 token, up to 3/3/3. Consume all tokens when you do a great skill check on a generator. Then, for each token consumed, the maximum required generator progress is reduced by 2/3/4.

Dead by Daylight pits 4 players who must team up to repair generators to escape from the killer. Your perks can be used to save yourself and/or your friends. The goal is to fix five generators or escape through a hatch if only 1 Survivor remains.

PC players can get early access through the Public Test Build (PTB) servers on Steam. The steps to access the PTB are to go to Library and right-click on Dead by Daylight. Then, click on Properties and navigate to the Betas tab. Select that Betas tab and look for public beta from the drop-down menu. If it’s not visible, restart/refresh the Steam page, and you should be able to play on the PTB servers.

The Dead by Daylight: Lara Croft chapter will be available on 16 July 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
