Obsidian Entertainment Drop Avowed Story Trailer But Still No Release Date

The newest trailer for Avowed by Obsidian Entertainment has arrived, showcasing fresh gameplay but withholding a release date for now.

Initially slated for a fall release, Obsidian Entertainment gave gamers a taste of what’s to come at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase earlier today. However, the absence of a release date means fans will need to exercise patience.

Avowed was first unveiled in 2020, but it wasn’t until 2023 that Obsidian revealed any gameplay. This upcoming RPG will be the studio’s first since 2019’s The Outer Worlds. While they’ve since released titles like Grounded and Pentiment, Avowed marks their return to the RPG genre.
