The Acolyte is set in the High Republic era during the prime of the Jedi, around one hundred years before the events of Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace.

The Acolyte stars Amandla Stenberg (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game), Manny Jacinto (Nine Perfect Strangers), Dafne Keen (Logan), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Rebecca Henderson (Inventing Anna), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Dean-Charles Chapman (1917), and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix).

The synopsis reads:

The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

It follows an investigation into a crime spree that pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems.

They need to find Kelnacca.

Master Sol Brandishes His Lightsaber For The First Time And It’s Blue

The first blue lightsaber we’ve seen so far. Most Jedis in the High Republic era have green or yellow lightsabers. This is actually also the first time that we see Master Sol activate his lightsaber.

Mae Decides To Turn Herself In And Go Against Her Master

Her reason is that Osha being alive means that she doesn’t want to seek revenge anymore.

Master Kelnacca Is Already Dead And Killed By Mae’s Master

The mysterious Sith antagonist is on Khofar.

The Episode Ends With The Mysterious Sith Showing Up And Showing Us His Power

And he is powerful.

The episode ends as he Force pushes everyone like they’re nothing, including a whole group of Jedi.
