Brad Pitt’s F1 Movie Gets A Fast & Furious First Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures and Apple Original Films have unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt.

The movie stars Pitt as former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, who is lured back to the sport to partner rookie teammate Joshua Pearce, played by Idris, at the fictional APXGP team. Filming of F1, which also stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo, took place at real F1 events, including this weekend’s British Grand Prix.

Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun Maverick) directs and produces the feature alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films; Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner for Plan B Entertainment; and Lewis Hamilton under his Dawn Apollo Films banner.

The film is made in collaboration with Formula 1 and the F1 community, including the 10 F1 teams and their drivers, the FIA, and race promoters. Copper CEO Penni Thow serves as executive producer.

F1 is set to be distributed in cinemas by Warner Bros. Pictures on 26 June 2025.

Let’s hope it’s just as good and gripping as 2019’s Ford V Ferrari, which was one of the best racing movies in recent years (check out my full review of it here).
