Heihachi Mishima Is Not Dead; Returns To Tekken 8

At the start of the Tekken 8 top 6 tournament at EVO 2024, Tekken producers Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray showcased a new video teasing the next character in the Season 1 Pass DLC. And yes, it’s who you think it is despite exaggerated rumours.

After stating that he’s completely dead last year, the Tekken developers decide to bring Heihachi Mishima back to life yet again in Tekken 8 in Autumn 2024. Based on the trailer below, he seem to have started a monastery with students learning Electric Wind God Fist and Heihachi’s fighting style. If you’ve used Heihachi in past Tekken games, he’ll most likely have his old kit in Tekken 8

Moreover, Tekken 8 will be getting a new Story Mode addition for the season, featuring Polish president Lidia and Eddy Gordo as spotlight characters leading the tale. Check out the gameplay trailer and EVO 2024 reveal below.

Heihachi Mishima will return to Tekken 8 in Autumn 2024 for PC and consoles via the Season 1 Pass DLC.
