Nike and Bandai Namco to Release Tekken 8-Inspired Sneakers
By Ali'sha Harris|July 9, 2024|0 Comment
Nike and Bandai Namco have teamed up to launch a special collection of sneakers inspired by the popular 3D fighting game, Tekken 8.
Named the “Tekken 8 x Nike Air Foamposite One Fist,” this collaboration is part of Tekken’s 30th anniversary celebrations and is based on two iconic characters: Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.
The first design, inspired by the antagonist Kazuya Mishima, features an upper adorned with iridescent Foamposite material in armour navy, giving it a distinctive visual appeal. Additionally, the shoes are embellished with a faux crocodile skin texture over the Foamposite material and bear the Tekken logo and a Fist emblem with Tekken’s signature lighting. The sneakers come in a stylish Tekken 8 box.
According to Sole Retriever, a second colourway inspired by Jin Kazama is expected to be released later, although images of the design are not yet available. Priced at $250, these exclusive kicks will be available in men’s sizes and are set to hit shelves in September 2024. They can be purchased through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers, both online and in-store.
