Paraside: Duality Unbound is a Dual Realm Strategy RPG Scheduled for 2025

WhisperGames and developer Mistold Games have revealed their upcoming strategy role-playing game where every action taken will affect two realms, which means the characters act simultaneously on both sides of the world in this game. That’s already a promising new mechanic in the realm of turn-based tile-based combat RPGing!

Set in a post-apocalyptic universe where humanity is struggling to survive, players will lead Earth’s remnants in battles against otherworldly threats and work to reclaim territories from enemies.

Paraside: Duality Unbound features isometric maps with two different layouts representing different realities. Players can toggle between these realities using a mechanic called Duality Manipulation. As players progress, they will have the opportunity to influence the environment and story through Duality Manipulation.

On top of the strategic battles, the game also includes a base management system where players can build facilities and develop tools for their units. Players can also recruit allies worldwide, each offering unique skills and insights. The game’s dynamic environment regenerates landscapes after each mission, ensuring that no two adventures are the same.

Players can join a vibrant community and access user-generated content such as new characters, items, encounters, and worlds. Modding capabilities are also features for players to customize the game experience.

The publisher has confirmed that the game will be showcased at Bilibili World, Gamescom, PAX West, and Tokyo Game Show.

While there is no release date yet, Paraside: Duality Unbound will be released sometime in 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
