Path Of Exile 2’s Latest Update Reforges Its Endgame & Adds A Lot More; Its Biggest Pre-Launch Update Yet

While action RPG Path of Exile 2 is right on track in getting out of Early Access, those who jumped in last year will get to experience an overhaul in its endgame firsthand.

That’s right: Path of Exile 2 is getting a big update that transforms its endgame while adding in a whole lot more. Subtitled Return of the Ancients, this pre-1.0 patch will add in the following:

• 50 hours of new endgame content, new challenge system, new uniques, expanded crafting system, and reimagined Atlas Tree.
• New Ascendancy Classes: Martial Artist and Spirit Walker.
• Improved campaign replayability alongside 5 new endgame storylines (Hare and the Raven, Waking the Dreamer, Rite of the Nameless, Masters of the Atlas).
• New build planner.
• New quality of life changes and features.

The update will be out on 29 May. The full 1.0 launch is targeted after ExileCon, where all panels and reveals for Path of Exile 2 will be streamed online.
