The Animators Of Arcane League Of Legends Would Love To Adapt This Classic Manga

Studio Fortiche, the French animation production house behind Arcane: League of Legends, would love to branch out to doing new shows and adaptations in the future. And the group already has one in mind on their wishlist.

According to a recent interview on Crunchyroll, Studio Fortiche would love to animate Vagabond, the epic martial arts manga from Takehiko Inoue (of Slam Dunk fame). Co-founder Pascal Charrue said that it’s the first idea that came to mind due to the series’ incredible depth and stunning artwork.

Crunchyroll: If you could adapt any manga into animation, which one would you like to make with your team?

Charrue: That’s a tough question. The first adaptation that comes to mind would be Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue. It’s a masterpiece with incredible depth and stunning artwork that would be fascinating to bring to life in animation. Although Naoki Urasawa’s works have already seen multiple adaptations, they remain a significant source of inspiration for us.”

On a related note, The First Slam Dunk is available to watch now on Disney+ Hotstar. As for Studio Fortiche’s upcoming show, Arcane Season 2 will debut on Netflix this November.
