Netflix Unveils New Sneak Peek At The Sandman Season 2

During Netflix Geeked Week 2024, Netflix gave us our first look at The Sandman Season 2.

Developed and executive produced by Gaiman (who created this take of the character in his original DC Comics run), Heinberg, and David S. Goyer, the original 11 episodes of the series debuted on Netflix in 2022.

Alongside Sturridge and Christie, The Sandman Season 1 stars Boyd Holbrook, Patton Oswalt, Vivienne Acheampong, Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, David Thewlis, Stephen Fry, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Vanesu Samunyai (formerly known as Kyo Ra), John Cameron Mitchell, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Joely Richardson, Niamh Walsh, Sandra James-Young, and Razane Jammal.

In May 2024, Netflix announced new additions to The Sandman Season 2, including Adrian Lester as Destiny, Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium and Barry Sloane as the Prodigal in the next season of The Sandman.

Back in November 2022, Netflix renewed The Sandman for a second season. In the meantime, check out my predictions of what’s to come in The Sandman Season 2 and beyond (though be prepared for full spoilers from both Season 1 and the entire comic book run).

The Sandman Season 2 premieres sometime in 2025.
