The Next Kingdom Hearts Game Has Been Delayed Indefinitely
Square Enix has announced that they have delayed GPS-based action RPG Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link from its previously planned 2024 release window to an unannounced date.
The announcement reads:
“While preparing for the launch of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release. We sincerely apologize to all players who have been looking forward to the release. We appreciate your patience. Please look forward to further information.”
While preparing for the launch of “KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link”, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release.
We sincerely apologize to all players who have been looking forward to the release.
We appreciate your patience. Please look forward to further information.— Official KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link (@KHMLink_NA) November 19, 2024
Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link was originally announced back in October 2023. The mobile game is coming to Android and iOS devices. It’s the latest game in the franchise since 2019’s Kingdom Hearts 3 and 2020’s Kingdom Hearts Melody Of Memory.
The only thing we know about Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link so far is that it’s a GPS-based action RPG. If past mobile games in the franchise are any indication, this game will probably lead in some way to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4, which was originally revealed and announced in April 2022.
We’re still waiting for more details and information on Kingdom Hearts 4 as well. Maybe soon? Let’s hope.
