Netflix January 2025: Our Picks & Highlights

Happy New Year!

I’m sure you won’t want to waste time sifting through Netflix’s extensive catalogue of shows and movies just to decide on what to watch. The streaming giant updates its site every day, week, and month with new content, so I’m here to save your precious time.

Here are my personal recommendations and highlights for Netflix Malaysia’s January 2025 lineup and how to fill up your free time with worthwhile content at home:

Cunk On Life (2 January 2025)

Deadpan documentarian Philomena Cunk from Cunk On Earth confounds philosophers and academics in her quest to understand the meaning of life in this feature-length special.

Wallace & Gromit Vengeance Most Fowl (3 January 2025)

From the brilliant Aardman and four-time Academy Award®-winning director Nick Park and Emmy Award-nominated Merlin Crossingham comes Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!
