Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Movie Already Greenlit
Ahead of Sonic The Hedgehog 3’s screening in Malaysia on 26 December, Paramount is well ahead of making a fourth movie.
Paramount will reportedly release a Sonic The Hedgehog 4 movie in 2027. According to Variety, Sonic 4 is in the planning stages and will be out in Spring 2027. No other details and announcements were made.
Sonic The Hedgehog and Sonic The Hedgehog 2 have experienced box office successes with a combined US$725 million in revenue. In addition, a Paramount+ spinoff series Knuckles released earlier this year. The movies are directed by Jeff Fowler, with star Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. On a related note, Kakuchopurei will be one of the major gaming news outlets to screen Sonic The Hedgehog 3 early in Malaysia and Southeast Asia on 21st December at GSC IOI City Mall 2 at Putrajaya in conjunction with UIP Malaysia and GSC.
