Daredevil Born Again Trailer Breakdown: Kingpin, Muse, White Tiger & More

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Daredevil Born Again, which will premiere on 5 March 2024 on Disney+ Hotstar. It will consist of nine (9) episodes.

In “Daredevil: Born Again,” Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.

The series also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, with Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal. Dario Scardapane is showrunner. Episodes are directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd; and executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman & Chris Ord, and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead.

Daredevil last appeared in the MCU in Echo and She-Hulk.

Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil while Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk AKA Kingpin.

They’re meeting in a diner for some reason.

Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page And Elden Henson As Foggy Nelson

Both of them reprise their role from the Netflix Daredevil series.

Wilson Fisk Is Now Mayor Of New York City

Wilson Fisk was confirmed to have been elected as mayor at the end of 2023’s Echo series.

This is inspired by the Marvel Comics crossover event, Devil’s Reign, in which Wilson Fisk became mayor of New York City and outlawed superheroes.

Wilson Bethel Reprises His Role As Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter From Daredevil Season 3

He was the main villain of that season, impersonating Daredevil on the command of Wilson Fisk.

Our First Look At Muse

Muse will be one of the main antagonists in Daredevil Born Again.

In the comics, he was created by writer-editor Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney. The character first appeared in Daredevil (Vol. 5) #11 (September 2016). Muse is a serial killer artist who planned shocking mass murders, abductions, and torture as a means of creating his “art”, converting them into works of art.

Jon Bernthal Reprises His Role As Frank Castle AKA The Punisher

Jon Bernthal reprises the role after two seasons of his own series on Netflix.

The Debut Of White Tiger In The MCU

Kamar De Los Reyes plays Hector Ayala AKA the White Tiger.

White Tiger is notable for being the first Latin American superhero for Marvel Comics, the first US Latino superhero, and the first Puerto Rican superhero.

In the comics, White Tiger gets his mystical powers from three mystical tiger amulets (a head and two paws) which come from the extra-dimensional realm of K’un-L’un. When wearing the amulets, Hector’s physical strength, speed, stamina, agility, dexterity, reflexes & reactions, coordination, balance, and endurance were all enhanced.

The Various Suits Of Daredevil

He’s had all of these suits in the comics before, including the original yellow costume, the black Shadowlands suit and others.

Daredevil Born Again will premiere on 4 March 2024 on Disney+ Hotstar. It will consist of nine (9) episodes.
