Nintendo Switch 2 (Finally) Officially Announced, Everything We Know So Far
Nintendo has officially announced the Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the original Nintendo Switch (which launched in 2017).
The Nintendo Switch 2 will launch sometime in 2025.
More details and information will be announced during a special Nintendo Direct presentation on 2 April 2025.
A new Mario Kart might be one of the first new games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo Switch 2 Is Backwards-Compatible
The Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed to be backwards-compatible. However, some games might not be supported or be fully compatible. We can probably guess that the major first-party games will all be fully backwards-compatible.
