Schedule 1 – Mixing Guide

So, you’ve made it into the world of Schedule 1, a cheeky little universe where green fingers meet business brains. It’s all going great—until your customers start getting picky. Suddenly, your basic stash isn’t cutting it anymore. They want variety. They want flavour. They want to feel calm but hyper, sneaky yet energised, lethal without dying—you know, the usual.

And that’s where mixing comes in. Think of it as cooking, if your kitchen also doubled as a front for a slightly-illegal herbal empire. This guide will walk you through the what, how, and why of mixing products in Schedule 1, and hopefully keep your profits high… just like your customers.

Step One: Unlock Your Inner Heisenberg

First, you’ll need a Mixing Station. These beauties unlock when you either reach the rank of Hoodlum I or kick off the Mixing Mania quest. You’ll then need to fork out $500 at Dan’s Hardware Store for a mixing table—yes, inflation even hits the criminal underworld. Once purchased, your journey into chemistry begins.

At the beginning, your options are simple:
1 Product (Strain) + 1 Ingredient = 1 New Blend
Easy maths. But the output? Anything but basic.

Say you throw OG Kush together with Cuke, and voila—something that’s simultaneously calming and energising. Like yoga with a Red Bull.

Product Power: The Stuff You Sell

Your base products are essentially the canvas of your botanical artwork. You’ll unlock new strains as you progress through the game’s story. The better the product, the crazier (and more profitable) your mixes can get. Late-game unlocks include stuff like:

  • Pseudo: Buy it from Shirley Watts. Combine with Acid and Phosphorus to create Crystal, which is 60% addictive and goes for $70. It’s the “I need rent money now” option.
    • Low-Quality: $60
    • Standard: $80
    • High-Quality: $110
  • Coca Seeds: Get them from Salvador Moreno. Mix Coca Leaves and Gasoline to whip up the game’s most profitable hit—worth $150 a bag and with a cool 40% addictiveness.

Name Cost to Purchase Suggested Price Addictiveness Effects Unlocks
OG Kush $30 $38 0% Calming Immediately
Sour Diesel $35 $40 10% Refreshing Street Rat IV
Green Crack $40 $43 34% Energizing Hoodlum II
Grandaddy Purple $45 $44 0% Sedating Hoodlum IV

Ingredients & What They Really Do

As you rank up—from humble Street Rat to ambitious Hustler—more ingredients become available at the Gas Mart. Each one adds unique effects to your mixes, like Calming, Energising, or Gingeritis (not a typo). But here’s the kicker: some effects are hidden, only triggered through specific combos.

Take Banana, for example. Normally, OG Kush creates a Calming effect. Add a banana? That effect vanishes and you get Sneaky instead—because obviously, bananas make people stealthy now. Also, Gingeritis. For reasons.

Lethal? Not Quite

You may notice some of your clientele want things like Lethal or Electrifying effects. The problem is, that some of these effects aren’t directly craftable. For instance, you can’t technically mix something that’s “Lethal,” but anything with the Explosive tag tends to get the job done—sometimes too well.

So yes, satisfying that request might involve a customer literally going out with a bang. You’ve been warned.

Pro Tip: Use the Calculator

The Schedule 1 Calculator is your best friend if you’re not into trial-and-error. It’s like having a drug lab spreadsheet—but way cooler.

Whether you’re mixing to make millions or simply trying to see if Shrinking pairs well with Electrifying, this guide should set you on your way to becoming a high-functioning (and highly profitable) herbalist with questionable ethics. Now, go forth and concoct chaos.
