If you got some artistic chops and love big game (and games) like the Monster Hunter franchise, this contest may be your Capcom jam.

Capcom is calling on fans worldwide to unleash their creativity in the Monster Hunter Wilds Design Contest, running from 3 June to 24 June 2025. Submit your original Hunter Weapon or Pendant designs for a chance to have them featured in the game.

After the first round of judging (scheduled to be after 25 June), 20 entries from each category will move on to a Global Player Voting phase from 11 July to 18 July 2025 via their CAPCOM ID (yes, that’s still a thing). Voters even get a free social media icon.

The top 8 designs per category will be revealed on 25 July 2025, with the ultimate winners handpicked by the Monster Hunter Wilds development team and crowned on 27 September 2025. The Grand Prize-winning designs will be brought to life in-game in early 2026, with all Excellence Award winners honoured in the game’s credits.

You can start now by participating via the Capcom Asia X/Twitter account. Submit your design through your X account and use either the #WeaponEntry or #PendantEntry hashtags, as well as #MHWilds. Remember: the deadline is 24 June 3:59pm GMT+8.

Regulations for Entries

Please submit high-resolution designs using the following specifications:
1. Image format: jpg or png, 16:9 digital data
2. Resolution: 72 dpi
3. Size: Up to 2MB

We will select one Grand Prize winner from the top entries in both categories.

Weapon Category
