EVO 2026 & EVO Japan 2026 Lineup Announced

The biggest fighting game tournament in the world is set, with its lineup announced for its 2026 iteration.

EVO Championship Series has announced the full lineup of its EVO Japan 2026 and EVO 2026 (Las Vegas) tournaments. Here they are:

EVO Japan 2026 (May 1-3 2026 PST)

-Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising
-Street Fighter 6
-The King of Fighters XV
-Virtua Fighter 5 REVO
-Tekken 8
-Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
-Darkstalkers 3
-Under Night In Birth 2
-Fist of the North Star
-Melty Blood Type Lumina
-2XKO

EVO 2026 (June 26-28 2026 PST)

-Street Fighter 6
-Tekken 8
-Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves
-Under Night 2
-GBVS Rising
-Rivals of Aether 2
-2XKO
-Guilty Gear Strive
-BlazBlue Central Fiction
-Virtua Fighter 5 REVO
-Darkstalkers 3
-Invincible VS

The surprise additions on this lineup include Fist of the North Star (known for its infinite combos) and Darkstalkers 3/Vampire Savior, a classic 2D fighting game from Capcom featuring Universal Horror-esque characters like the vampire Dimitri, cat girl Felicia, and succubus Morrigan.

This line-up also reveals that the upcoming 2D tag fighting title Invincible VS will be out before EVO 2026 happens, or at least be in Early Access form. The game’s release date will most likely be announced at this year’s The Game Awards this Friday morning GMT+8 time, so stay tuned to that.

There are also no news on EVO tournaments in other countries; the last we heard about EVO Singapore is that it’s now taking place in 2027 instead of 2026.
