Triple-i Initiative 2026 Showcase: All The Indie Games

This year’s Triple-i Initiative showcase puts the “i” in indie and small-time games that won’t break your wallet. Keeping up with the tradition from last year, the folks behind this presentation are showcasing loads of games from the Western side of the world alongside some Asian surprises here and there.

Here they are in no particular order.

Prove You’re Human

You play as someone who has to convince the AI you’re stuck with that it isn’t real and human, which is a harder task than it sounds.

An AI dares to dream she is human. You’ve been hired to put her in her place. From the creators of the Peabody award-winning 1000xRESIST, published by the creators of Slay The Princess. Prove You’re Human is a sci-fi narrative adventure in which you play as Santana and split your consciousness in two. The company behind this program has a chance at achieving true AGI — but there’s just one problem. The company’s AI, Mesa, is convinced she’s a human being.

No release date yet though.

Alkahest

In the first gameplay reveal of Alkahest, the player ventures into dark caves and abandoned ruins now claimed by goblins. Exploration flows into tense encounters, where combat feels physical and grounded – kicks, finishers, and reactive environments turn every fight into controlled chaos. Destructible spaces and systemic physics blur the line between weapon and world, while alchemy adds a layer of creativity, enabling clever interactions both in battle and in traversal.

Lost Railway

A 2D horror game where you survive with your furry friends against mutants in a secret lab.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Castlevania’s back, with more gameplay and more news on its setting.

SpaceCraft

Rift of the Necrodancer – Undertale Music Pack

If you want to play Megalovania in a rhythm game, here’s a good way to do so. The pack is out right now.

Thick As Thieves

Warren Spector and company’s new stealth game has a release date: May 20.

Romestead

Survival Town-Builder ‘Romestead’, developed by Beartwigs and published by Three Friends, will be released into Early Access on May 26th! Romestead is an action-adventure survival game that invites players to build and expand their home, alone or with friends, as they seek to rebuild Rome and conquer the legendary foes that inhabit ancient lands.

Frostrail

Through the frost, death follows the tracks. Dive into a ruthless survival FPS, solo or co-op. Explore, scavenge, craft, and fight to endure a frozen, corrupted world. Operate and upgrade your steam-powered train through an unforgiving wasteland, where every choice is a matter of survival. Discover new gameplay footage featuring combat, exploration, and train management in the frozen wasteland. The playtest begins April 16. Sign up now!

Crop

A gritty farming thriller where your life depends on the yield. Abducted and bound to a dying farm, you must dig, plant, irrigate, and cut through the decay, all while solving the mystery of your captors and overcoming the daily cycle. The only way out is through the harvest.

Machine Party

Machine Party is a collection of violent party games where failure is lethal. Launching Summer 2026.

Windrose

This dark horse pirate game is getting a lot of wishlists; you can start sailing in Early Access form on April 14.

Over The Hill

Playtest for this slow driving game will be from April 24 onward.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions

A new space game where you team up with others to explore and colonize different planets. Open beta starts in April.

Shift At Midnight

This co-op horror game where you also manage a convenience store wilil be out on May 28.

Dead As Disco

Early Access mode for this rhythm beat-em-up action title is slated for May 5. Easy Allies also conducted an exclusive interview with the devs below:

Barotrauma – Home and Harbor

Home & Harbor is the upcoming expansion for Barotrauma. Introducing outpost ownership, building and management and a mysterious new faction: The Descendants, which will shake up the world of Europa’s merry sailors. Coming Fall 2026.

Lost Castle 2

This 2D beat-em-up is going into 1.0 this June 11.

Sledding Game

It’s in the title. Out in Early Access form on April 30.

Solarpunk

This island-in-the-sky sim will be out on June 8.

Warhammer Survivors

Warhammer Survivors, the fast-paced Warhammer roguelite survivors game, has announced that it will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 alongside Steam later this year. Coming alongside the latest announcement is a wave of new reveals, including new playable characters, a cache of devastating weapons and an all-new enemy faction (the Orks).

Valor Mortis

The upcoming first-person action RPG set in the Napoleonic Wars is coming out in Fall 2026. There’s a ton more revealed about the game below in the dev diary video.

Temtem: Pioneers

A new title in the Temtem series. Step into the Downbelow, a vast and untamed region where Temtem roam wild and every expedition opens the door to new discoveries. Far Far West

This co-op Western first-person shooter title with a spooky edge will be out in Early Access form on April 28.

Graveyard Keeper 2

This follow-up indie title will be out in 2026.

The Lift

A new adventure game set in a dystopian future, where you’re the world’s most-requested handyman in charge of small fixes and big-ass projects.

Alabaster Dawn

One of 2026’s most-anticipated action-adventure titles is getting into Early Access this May 7. More info on the dev diary below:

Too Deep To Quit

A new co-op temple-running and grave-robbing title. Out later this year.

Neverway

From the pixel artist of Celeste and musician Disasterpeace comes this new action-adventure surreal horror title.

After quitting her dead-end job, Fiona starts over on a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead god. Make friends, fight through horrors and pay your debt in this nightmarish life sim RPG.

The prologue is out right now, with the full game coming out in October 2026.

Final Sentence

The first-person typing game that is also a battle royale title, this indie game is out right now.

Don’t Starve Elsewhere

A new entry in the survival action title, this Don’t Starve game takes place in a whole new world.
