The Next Legend of Heroes RPG Will Arrive This September, But…
Good news, JRPG fans! The next Legend of Heroes entry will be out in a few months.
The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki will be out for the PS4 on 30th September according to a news piece on Famitsu. However, this is the Japanese version. There’s no info on an English version as of now, though we suspect it’ll take half a year for that version to get released.
The game’s voice cast is also announced (via Gematsu). You may recognize some names from other anime games, or anime in general.
- Van Arkride (voiced by Daisuke Ono).
- Agnes Claudel (voiced by Miku Itou).
- Feri Al-Fayed (voiced by Yui Ogura).
- Aaron Wei (voiced by Yuuma Uchida).
- Risette Twinnings (voiced by Yui Ishikawa).
- Quatre Salison (voiced by Mutsumi Tamura).
Update: the Famitsu issue also talks about two new characters in the game. They are Judith Runster (pictured below) the stoic actress who fights with a Meteor Whip, and Bergard Zeman the old benefactor and chaperone who wields a gauntlet and armor combo.

The developers also talked about the Crafts system, where each character can spend Craft Points to activate character-specific skills for combat. These include main character Van’s Coin Bullet that deals damage in a half-circle range to Agnes’ Glow Hammer that deals damage and recovers EP to help support her other arts.
