League Of Legends Esports Pacific Championship Series Returns For 2021 Summer Split

Riot Games Southeast Asia, Carry Live Co., and Garena have announced the 2021 Summer Split of the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) presented by CTBC and  China Airlines, to commence on 9 July 2021. The Summer split will continue with the same ten teams from the Spring Split.

Finishing top 4 in the recent Mid-Season Invitational, PSG Talon’s strong performance has proven them to be one of the teams to watch. 10 teams will compete in the Summer split for  PCS glory and for the chance to represent the region at global events, notably in the 2021 League of Legends World Championship this November.

The format for this year’s Summer split will remain the same as last year, with teams playing all other teams twice in a double round-robin, best-of-one series.

Matches will be broadcasted in English, Mandarin, and Thai on the official YouTube page, as well as on Twitch based on respective language feeds (English, Mandarin, and Thai). Huya will also have simplified Chinese broadcasts and eGG Network will have English broadcast for television networks in 8 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines too.

With China Airlines coming on as a partner for the 2021 Summer split, Riot Games Southeast  Asia and Carry Live Co., as co-organizers and operators of the 2021 season of the PCS, are committed with all its partnerships across the region with the support of Garena, the publisher of  League of Legends in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. CTBC will continue on as the league’s official presenting sponsor for the 2021 Summer split.
