The Shenmue Anime Gets Its First Trailer

Crunchyroll and Adult Swim have released a first look trailer for Shenmue The Animation, the 13-episode animated series based on the Sega game series. The Shenmue anime was originally announced in September 2020.

Produced by Telecom Animation Film, the production company behind works such as Tower Of God and Lupin The Third: Part 5, Shenmue the Animation will premiere sometime in 2022. It will be directed by Chikara Sakurai with executive production work from Yu Suzuki himself.
