Trails of Cold Steel Anime Announced For 2023

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel quadrilogy is one of Falcom’s epic JRPG series which fans of the genre should play if they want a super-detailed JRPG experience. It does require lots of investment and time, so if you don’t have that, you can wait next year for the anime adaptation. Kind of.

Said anime adaptation is titled The Legend of Heroes; Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War and is scheduled for 2023. The production company behind the animation will be Tatsunoko Production. The anime will cover the story between Trails of Cold Steel II and Trails of Cold Steel III.

Based on the description, the anime may not cover the entirety of the game -you may still need to play the majority of the games. At the very least it fleshes out some of the going-ons of the whole series, so it should be a treat for anime and Falcom RPG fans.
