Warframe’s Biggest Update Will Go Live This Week
Remember when I wrote about that really huge Warframe update a while back? The one called Fortuna? Well, it’s happening this week.
Fortuna, our new open-world expansion, comes to PC this week! #LiftTogether https://t.co/jkeLHwl2EI pic.twitter.com/J4RJTzz2ei

Bad news for console space ninjas: it’s out for PC first.
Here’s a reminder of what to expect from the Fortuna update.
- New cyborg faction to do missions for
- New open environment featuring seascape flora, giant mushrooms, and rare creatures. It looks friggin’ huge so far.
- Robot-fishing & animal-hunting.
- Improved bounties.
- New warframe called Garuda; this warframe lets you use enemies’ blood as a shield or as a temporary powerup. Plus it looks super-slick.
- Moa companions.
- Hoverboards.
If this expansion pulls through, I think it’s safe to say that there’s really no need for you to play Destiny 2 and pay a premium for it. If you’re a new player wondering what the hell a Warframe is, or if you took a break from the game, now’s as good as any to make a return to space ninja duties.
I’ll be sure to jump aboard the Tenno train and tell you all about Fortuna in the next few days or so.
