[Leak] Fall Guys Gets New Crossover With SNK’s Fatal Fury Icons

A leak has appeared on Twitter that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is back at it again with yet another crossover collaboration, this time with the Fatal Fury fighting game series from SNK.

Over the many years since the fighting game’s inception, Fatal Fury has collaborated with many different games, notably with Tekken and Super Smash Bros. in recent memory thanks to Geese Howard for the former and Terry Bogard for the latter.

That’s not to say that Fall Guys haven’t done a boat load of collaborations themselves. Crossover skins featured in Fall Guys include Halo’s Master Chief to Super Monkey Ball’s AiAi to Bugsnax’s Filbo Fiddlepie. So there’s surprise that either of these two IPs are collaborating.

The leak came out on 14 July via a video that was Tweeted from Fall Guys insider, @KrxnkyFG. The video showcases two of Fatal Fury’s most recognisable faces: Mai “Nippon Ichi!” Shiranui and Terry “Hungry Wolf” Bogard.

Fall Guys’ take on the two Fatal Fury fighters does differ slightly from the source material. Notably, the Mai skin is a lot less revealing than the original counterpart’s outfit which may trigger a vocal minority. The Terry skin has his signature buff arms (from all the Power Dunks and Power Waves), which I must say, looks hilarious on the Fall Guys bean body.

Fall Guys’ developer Mediatonic is yet to officially announce this collaboration. But another leak surfaced on Twitter revealing dates for an event celebrating the skins’ release from another Fall Guys insider, @FGPancake. The even is expected to be from 4 August until 8 August.

Based off of previous skin releases we can expect that the skins will cost around 1,200 Show Bucks apiece, and crossovers like this are often bundled together for a discounted 2,000 bucks. This wouldn’t leave a huge mark (Of The Wolves) on any fan’s wallets. I would ask if Mediatonic are OK like Terry would, but with the numbers they’re hitting ever since Fall Guys went free-to-play, I’m sure they are.
