For Honor Adds In Medjay Hero Next Week

Ubisoft’s 3D multiplayer PvP action game with fighting game mechanics For Honor is still staying strong, with a new hero being added to the mix.

The game will get a new Outlander Hero called the Medjay. He’s an Egyptian hero who fights with both a fan axe and dual-wielding axe, meaning he can change stances midway during the heat of battle. The fan axe is used for crowd control while the dual-wielding axes is meant for 1v1 duels. If you use the wrong stance in a fight, you’ll probably die.

The Medjay hero will be out on 28 July; he’ll be available as purchaseable DLC and comes with one Exclusive Ornament, one Elite Outfit, seven days of Champion Status, and three scavenger crates. Alternatively, you can unlock him on 11th August for 15,000 in-game Steel credits, so if you’ve saved up those via playing, you can probably afford him without resorting to real-world money.

The best part? For the whole week of 28 July, For Honor will be free to play on PS4, PS5, and PC. The Friend Referral program will also be active during that week, so veterans can get bonuses and rewards for bringing new people in.
