[Rumour] Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster & Multiplayer Spin-Off In The Works

PlayStation is at it once again with PS5 remakes/remasters that may be out too soon.

A report from MP1st stated that PlayStation might either be remastering or remaking Horizon Zero Dawn, an action-adventure title from developer Guerilla Games that came out in 2017. The remaster will feature an improved lighting system, overhauled textures, and better animations with new character models to match the ones in the sequel. The remaster/remake will be out exclusively for PlayStation 5.

That’s not all: the other half of Guerilla Games is making a Horizon online multiplayer game for the PlayStation 5 and PC. The rumoured game will feature co-op mode, with customization options using the different tribes from the series.

Horizon Zero Dawn’s sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, was out earlier this year to rave reviews. In some way, it makes more sense to have a multiplayer spin-off than a full-on remake, assuming both reports are true.
