Catch the Pikachu Parade at Malaysia’s First Pokémon Festival in Genting

Malaysia‘s first ever official Pokémon Festival is taking place at Genting from now until February 28, 2019. Celebrate this jolly Christmas and auspicious Chinese New Year with exciting Pokémon-themed activities and merchandise.

Pokémon fans must be familiar with the cute Pikachu parade with lines of adorable Pikachus walking and dancing in unison. Well, get ready to witness our very own Pikachu Parade and Dance live with a total of 8 Pikachu performers. For a sneak preview of what to expect, check out the video below.

Attendees can not only check out the world’s tallest Pokémon-themed Christmas tree adorned with Poké decorations, but there will also be a massive 6-meter tall Pikachu inflatable surrounded by over 50 tiny Pikachu plushies.

Budding Pokémon trainers can test their mettle and search for the 32 Pokémon figurines scattered in SkyAvenue throughout various locations and at different times. Gotta catch ’em all!

The Pokémon Pop-Up store also offers official Pokémon merchandise imported from Japan’s Pokémon Store, as well as other activities like the special Trainer Program, where the younger trainers can collect 8 limited-edition Pokémon stickers by completing tasks.

Check out what’s in store at the Pokémon Pop-Up store below, courtesy of our friends at Gamehubs.

Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for more Poké news. In the meantime, head on over to the official Pokémon Festival website here for more details and information.
