Bayonetta 3: How To Unlock The Game’s Secret Chapter

Bayonetta 3, the new action game from Nintendo, Sega, and PlatinumGames, has a ton of collectibles and unlockables ranging from new hair colours to even alternate chapters to existing quests, as well as additional demons you can use and summon with the Devil Slave witch tech.

The biggest one, however, involves a picture book you can buy early in the game. It hides an entirely different game you can play for a few minutes involving a younger Cereza in a storybook fantasy world with a nifty witch spell mechanic.

Here’s a video guide on how to access the secret game.

Basically you have to buy the Old Picture Book from Rodin, then head to Chapter 1-2, 4-1, and 13-2 in the Ginnungagap Chaotic Rift transition planes. The three keys for the book are located in three of these areas. You’ll need at least the spider and bird Demon power-ups to reach the areas housing the keys.

Once you collect all three, you’ll then unlock the book and play through the secret chapter with little Cereza. Enjoy!
