Here Are The Worst Games Of 2022 According To Metacritic
As with any year filled with video games, there will always be subpar experiences and not-so-hot offerings. Via Metacritic’s roundup, we now know the worst-reviewed titles of 2022.
The list includes games that came out between 1st January 2022 and 31st December 2022, but only those with more than 7 reviews from professional outlets. Based on these criteria, the top three games with these dubious honours are Postal 4, CrossfireX, and Babylon’s Fall.
Postal 4 is the sequel to the gross-out first-person action open-world series, while CrossfireX is the single-player version of the online PvP shooter with janky graphics & performance issues. Babylon’s Fall is the action RPG from Square Enix that’s billed as a live service title, but just bad. Worse than Marvel’s Avengers, if you can believe that.
Here’s the full list:
- POSTAL 4: No Regerts (PC) – 30
- CrossfireX (Xbox Series X) – 38
- Babylon’s Fall (PS5) – 41
- XEL (Switch) – 43
- Arc of Alchemist (Switch) – 46
- Zorro: The Chronicles (PS5) – 49
- The Last Oricru (Xbox Series X) – 50
- The Waylanders (PC) – 51
- Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief (PS4) – 52
- Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition (Switch) – 52
I’m just shocked that Gungrave G.O.R.E. and Saints Row (2022) didn’t crack the top 10 list.
