It was a sad day for Henry Cavill and his fans yesterday when it was announced that he won’t be returning as Superman for DC Comics movies moving forward. However, there’s at least some good news as the actor is now attached to star and executive produce a series adaptation of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer 40K for Amazon Prime Video.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon is in final talks for the rights to the game, produced by Games Workshop, after months of negotiations and fending off rival companies that also sought the rights. However, there are no writers or showrunners attached right now.

Warhammer 40K is set in a future where human civilization is stuck in an unending war with aliens and magical beings, with gods and demons.
