Ludwig Joins Moist Esports As Co-Owner

YouTube streaming star Ludwig Ahgren has become a co-owner of Moist Esports, an esports organisation founded by Charles White Jr., more commonly referred to as MoistCr1TiKaL.

He made the announcement by appearing in a video alongside the organization’s founder. This comes after Ludwig signed an exclusive streaming deal with YouTube in November 2021.

In the announcement video, Ludwig discussed Moist Esports’ competitive achievements and their decision to not accept sponsorships from crypto companies, which have become increasingly popular among esports organizations. He asked MoistCr1TiKaL if the organization had to spend a lot of money to achieve their success, to which MoistCr1TiKaL responded that Ludwig had been given a lot of money by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki to burn.

MoistCr1TiKaL has previously stated that he is willing to lose money on Moist Esports because of his passion for the organization. The organization has earned several awards, including a Rocket League Major trophy and a Smash major championship at CEO. They also compete in Apex Legends and Splitgate.

Ludwig has been expanding his content efforts and has recently organized a chessboxing event and a Ludwig x Tarik VALORANT invitational. With the new funding, Moist Esports could potentially expand to other games and ventures in the future.
