Shonen Jump Unveils New Manga Series, Beat And Motion

Shonen Jump has announced that their latest manga title is Beat And Motion. The premise of the new manga series is described as telling the story of a young man striving to fulfil his dream of becoming an animator.

Created by Naoki Fujita, Beat And Motion was the winner of Shuiesha Publication’s Million Tag reality competition in 2021, which was a contest where prospective manga authors competed against each other to be published. For winning the competition, Fujita also received five million yen and the chance for his work to be adapted into an anime on Netflix.

Shonen Jump is one of the most iconic manga magazines in Japan. They are best known for having featured legendary manga such as Dragon Ball, Shaman King, Naruto and more. The first chapter of Beat and Motion is now available to read via Viz Media’s Shonen Jump + website and Shueisha’s Manga Plus site.

Meanwhile, the second chapter will be released in both English and Japanese on 10 March 2023.
