Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Gets Trashed On Steam For Poor Port Job

The new action RPG from Team Ninja, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, is getting rave reviews from critics for its tough combat and gameplay. However, it’s getting a lot of negative reviews on the PC version.

At least on the Steam platform. The game received 3,748 reviews with mostly negative feedback since its launch yesterday, at this point in writing. This is because the PC version has terrible performance and mouse-and-keyboard controls that are broken at launch. The game features lag, crashes, and frame rate dips.

Here’s a quote from a number of popular review:

“A good game buried deep beneath the biggest catastrophe of a PC port that I have ever seen.”

“Camera control with mouse is insufferable with horrendous deadzone and weird inertia.”

“So basically Wild Hearts level of optimization.”

If you have a console that can run Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, go play those versions instead of the PC port. There’s currently no word from Koei Tecmo in regards to an update to fix these PC issues.
