Square Enix is still set on releasing more content for its action-adventure title Forspoken, despite the rest of the world not giving two craps about it.

Forspoken DLC “In Tanta We Trust” will be out on 26 May and will be a prequel to Forspoken’s storyline. Set 25 years before the events of Forspoken, you still play as Frey as she gets transported to the Purge of the Rheddig event from long ago.

“Accompanied by Tanta Cinta and a new set of magical abilities, Frey must uncover the answers and save Athia once more—and attempt to save herself. In the Forspoken “In Tanta We Trust” downloadable content, players will battle alongside Tanta Cinta using Frey’s newfound magical ability to unlock new combat strategies and coordinate devastating attack combos against the invading Rheddig forces. Scale to new heights in unique, vertically-designed environments with Frey’s honed magic-enhanced parkour skills.”

For more on Forspoken, check out our “glowing” review of the game. The game was so mid, it basically made its developer Luminous be absorbed into Square Enix to forever just do the game’s third-party assets and other menial labour befitting of an asset company.
