Tekken 8 Adds Leroy Smith & Asuka Kazama To The Roster

Tekken 8’s roster will be growing with a couple more additions.

After the EVO Japan 2023 Tekken 7 finals, Tekken producers Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray revealed two more characters joining Tekken 8: Wing Chun fighter Leroy Smith and juvenile hothead brawler Asuka Kazama.

Leroy now fights with his stick for maximum poking and footsie efficiency, though he still retains his many Tekken 7 moves. Asuka more or less plays the same like in part 7, but her Heat Moves make her do more follow-ups to her already-offensive Kazama-style repertoire.

Check them out in action below. Tekken 8 has no release date yet, but it’s coming out for PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
