Barbie Movie Unveils Character Posters and Barbie Land Trailer
Warner Bros Pictures has released the official posters and second teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action Barbie movie, unveiling star-studded casts, amongst many of them are variations of Barbies and Kens.
The cast is led by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as a particular Barbie and Ken, following suit with others portraying the iconic doll couple. We also get non-toy role figures such as Will Ferrell, Jamie Demetriou, and more.

The marketing team did a great job turning the posters with the aesthetic colours of Barbie and every character’s signature pose, including a short description of who they are.

Meanwhile, The Kens are here to look good and have fun! Fun fact, Ken is short for Kenneth Sean Carson and was introduced as Barbie’s boyfriend in 1961. In this film, we get to see the good looks of Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Kingsley Ben-Adir Ken, and Ncuti Gatwa.

The few non-Barbie and Ken-related roles starring Emerald Fennel plays Midge, Barbie’s best friend and Michael Cera as Allan as her husband. Human characters will be played by America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Will Ferrell, Jamie Demetriou, and Connor Swindells, with Helen Mirren voicing the narrator.

The Barbie Movie first introduced its first teaser trailer back in December 2023 and we finally get to see Barbie Land in the second teaser! Filled with cheerful friendly Barbies enjoying life to the fullest in the pink wonderland and Kens being charming and a hint of rivalry between two particular Kens. The trailer shows glimpses of musical scenes of Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu dancing in sync. We also get to see Barbie driving off to the ‘RealWorld’ with Ken in the front passenger seat.
Greta Gerwig’s Barbie is set to premiere in cinemas on 21 July 2023.
