Strayed Lights lets you fight numerous enemies, with the key mechanic being the parry system. Of course, some enemy patterns are tougher to gauge than others. Here are some tips and a boss fight walkthrough to help you out.

Strayed Lights Combat Tips & Tricks

Parry, Regardless Of Colour

If you have trouble switching colours between attack strings while blocking, don’t fret. You still don’t take damage as long as you parry; you just don’t heal the life you lost.

Dodge Purple Attacks

Always prepare to dodge whenever you can. Most enemies will usually have a purple-coloured corrupted attack in their repertoire; you can’t parry those.

Use The All Colour Parry Skill + Heal

You have access to three skills that use up skill points, but which one should you access first? We suggest you pick the top left skill -the one that lets you gain energy from parries regardless of colour. Plus, when you upgrade the skill, you also unlock bonus health recovery. Like we said in our review, the best offense is a good defense. 

Take Your Time In The World

Strayed Lights is a beautiful game to witness. Do take the time to take alternate paths to find stray orbs for collecting, or just take in the view.
