Revenant Esports Adds Filipino Coach, Pro To VALORANT Squad
So, it looks like Revenant Esports has just made a cool move to strengthen their VALORANT team by hiring a new coach from the Philippines. His name is Chris “Pro” Martir and he’s got some serious experience in the Filipino region as a former professional Counter-Strike player and more recently, as a professional VALORANT player with South Built Esports.
Now, he’ll be stepping into the role of head coach at Revenant Esports, helping the team to analyze their gameplay and perform at their best in the ongoing VALORANT Challengers 2023: South Asia Split 2 in New Delhi. With two Filipino players on the team already and a few more in the South Asian VALORANT scene, Pro’s familiarity with the players will definitely be an asset.
Revenant Esports’ VALORANT roster consists of:
- Shailesh “blackhawk” Dalvi
- Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed
- Enrico “Ching” Perez
- Joshua “JoshS” Miles Santos
- Sahil “1TaPGoD” Duble
- Tejas “rite2ace” Santosh Sawant
Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports, said that the team’s synergy has been a major focus, especially since they weren’t able to compete in Split 1 of the VALORANT Challengers South Asia. With Pro’s help, they’re hoping to build that synergy and perform at their best.
Revenant Esports has already played one match in the VALORANT Challengers, winning 2-1 against MLT Esports. Their next game will be against reigning champions Orangutan on 12 May at 7:00 PM (IST), and you can catch the action live on the Nodwin Gaming YouTube channel. So, if you’re a fan of VALORANT, be sure to check it out!
