Diablo 4 features a new open-world location for you to wander around and kill monsters for loot and levelling-up. But sometimes you want that extra boost in speed and movement.

Thus, Blizzard has added a feature new in the series: the ability to use a mount. Yes, you can finally ride a horse and speed around Sanctuary to places! Here’s how you can get one in the full version of Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 How To Unlock Your Mount

Unlocking the ability to ride horses is easy: just go through the game’s Story quest until you reach to Act 4.

You will eventually head back to Kyovashad to the church to meet a person named Donan. He will give you a quest called “Donan’s Favor”, which will lead you to the stables in Kyovashad; this is the first place you met Lorath in Act 1. After you talk to the stablemaster, that’s it: you have unlocked the ability to ride mounts and scored a free horse in the process. Hooray!

Press Z on the keyboard to ride a horse at any time (except in indoor areas). Here’s what you can do with a mount:

• Dash with the horse by pressing the spacebar.
• Use a dismount attack by pressing 1. Your character leaps out of his/her mount and do a cool attack from above. These include rain of arrows from the Rogue to a ground slam from the Druid. It’s pretty cool.
