Taiko No Tatsujin is a rhythm game franchise by Bandai Namco, where players beat a taiko drum in time with the music. The franchise mostly features Japanese songs, but it does occasionally add foreign songs from time to time. In the next update for Taiko No Tatsujin Nijiiro Ver., the game is surprisingly adding a Malay song from Malaysia and it won’t just be any Malay song; it’s an iconic song by legendary Malaysian singer, Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza.
According to the official blog post, the next scheduled update date for Taiko No Tatsujin Nijiiro Ver. will arrive on Wednesday, 7 June 2023.
Taiko No Tatsujin Nijiiro Ver. is the latest entry in the franchise, which was originally released for arcades in 2020 in Japan and in 2021 in the rest of the world. ‘Bukan Cinta Biasa’ by Siti Nurhaliza was originally released in 2003 as part of her ninth studio album, E.M.A.S. (2003). It’s also one of her most popular and most enduring songs.
This is a great achievement for Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza and her Malaysian fans. Malaysia Boleh!
