VCT Pacific Ascension 2023 Dates Revealed

After months of grueling competition in the VCT Challengers Pacific, 10 teams will rise as the shining stars of their respective regions, demonstrating their unwavering skill, determination, and perseverance. However, only a single team will ascend to claim their rightful place among the ranks of the VCT Pacific league.

VCT Ascension Pacific presents a remarkable opportunity for teams from Japan, Korea, Oceania, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore, Taiwan & Hong Kong, and South Asia. This tournament serves as their gateway to international league status, granting them the chance to compete for coveted spots in global tournaments, Masters, and Champions. The stakes are heightened as they fiercely vie for their share of the impressive USD 100,000 prize pool.

This tournament will take place at LAN in front of a live audience in Bangkok, Thailand. Ticketing details will be released soon.

FORMAT

The tournament will start with the Group Stage, in which 2 groups of 5 teams will fight through a single robin in a best-of-3 format.

The top 3 teams from each group will then advance to the Playoffs. The top 2 teams from the Group Stage will earn an automatic spot to the Semifinals, whereas the other 4 teams will start in the Quarterfinals.

The Playoffs will be structured as a single elimination bracket. Early Playoff rounds will be in a best-of-3 format followed by a best-of-5 Grand Final.
