The King Of Fighters XV Gets Goenitz & Cross Play DLC For Free Next Week

“Koko desu ka?”

Those infamous words from The King of Fighters 1996’s uber-boss Goenitz will be ringing in people’s ears in 2023 when The King Of Fighters XV’s next free update goes live on 20th June; that’s next week.

Not only will KOF XV get crossplay across all existing platforms -PC, Xbox, and PlayStation- but will also get Goenitz as a playable character. He is a pretty fast wind-based fighter with his signature Yonokaze; in KOF lore, he’s the boss of Yashiro, Chris, and Shermie.

Players will also get to fight a Boss Challenge version of Goenitz; his Yonokaze hits harder and comes out faster, has a dangerous EX version, and can zip around the screen pretty fast. Check out the absurdity of boss version Goenitz below.
